Waterfalls and live cooking demos took attendees of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) by surprise when exploring the massive ‘Connected Life’ exhibit for Hisense, captivating their audience from start to finish during the highly influential technology event. For the second year in a row, Hisense ranked on EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Best of CES list with their exhibit designed and fabricated by global event and experiential marketing agency, Impact XM.
EXHIBITOR magazine, the leader in trade show and corporate event marketing education, recently announced its 2023 Best of CES award winners. The program honors the top 20 exhibits and activations from among the roughly 3,200 at CES 2023.
“CES is known for inspiring, trend-setting, immersive, and experiential exhibit design,” said Travis Stanton, editor in chief of EXHIBITOR, who collaborates with the magazine’s editorial team to select and rank the winners. “To earn a spot on our Best of CES list this year, companies had to combine solid content, engaging experiences, innovative applications of technology, and user-friendly spaces. And the 20 exhibits that qualified for this year’s list delivered exceptional, memorable exhibits that raised the bar on experiential design to exciting new levels.”
To establish an engaging focal point and draw visitors in, Hisense’s primary product displays and demos were positioned along the main aisle for optimal engagement. A unique waterfall feature was incorporated into the front corner of the booth to draw attention to the new ULED X TV display—this large visual element created a dynamic focal point at the front of the booth without obstructing the screen displays. Above the booth structure, several fabric ribbons highlighted with dramatic lighting were suspended overhead to draw visitors further into the exhibit. The use of the space and creative elements, such as the waterfall, were a hit with attendees and succeeded in drawing a crowd throughout the show.
“Scoring a spot on our Best of CES list is an impressive feat considering the fact that the 20 exhibits included represent less than one-half of 1 percent of the companies on the CES 2023 show floor.” – Travis Stanton
