The PC Insiders Report has long been a printed book that shoppers have used for household ideas, innovations, product highlights, recipes, and seasonal food trends.
A few years ago, the PC Insiders Report moved from print to digital – but with the holidays approaching they asked us to imagine and create real-life, interactive versions of the beloved Report.

Partnering with Citizen Agency, Impact XM built a multi-sensory brand activation to promote the report and provide shoppers with holiday recipe ideas.
The architecture was designed to create a life-size ‘book’ that mimicked the artwork of the brand that people know so well. For over three days, this brand activation captured the imagination and memories of all those that attended. As shoppers walked in, they received their own printed copy of the PC Holiday Insiders Report, and they were able to use the stunning holiday-themed wall mural as a map to a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Attendees were able to try out new products, taste PC recipes, and learn how to make those recipes from the 3D holograms of their favorite social media chefs. There was also a special live chef hologram that attendees could interact with and ask their questions.
THE IMPACT
With +106% of the sampling goal, over 10K consumer interactions, 14,577,350 media impressions, and +20% YOY growth on holiday products. The event and engagements succeeded everyone’s objectives—especially the clients.
