THE CHALLENGE

Curated Customer Experience       

The International Roofing Expo (IRE) is the premier North American event for the roofing industry, and GAF, a leading innovator and North America’s largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, needed to leverage this platform to showcase its comprehensive product and service portfolio for both residential and commercial sectors. 

At IRE, one of GAF’s primary objectives was to craft a booth that flawlessly harmonized their array of offerings, delivering a polished presentation that showcased their complete suite of solutions. A pivotal aspect of the event’s success relied on effectively educating the expansive audience of attendees and potential clients about GAF’s extensive capabilities. Recognizing the demographic composition of the industry was paramount for the show’s success, with catering to the Latinx community being particularly important given their significant presence in the roofing workforce. 

THE SOLUTION

A Captivating Hub 

Impact XM meticulously crafted a bespoke booth, creatively unveiling GAF’s myriad of products and divisions in a curated journey, empowering product specialists to engage attendees in the value of partnering with GAF.  

Strategically positioned at the main entrance to the expo hall, the CARE (Center for the Advancement of Roofing Excellence) Stage captivated passersby, and became the booth’s focal point with its wide variety of interactive product demos and contests.

Every attendee entering the hall was enthralled by the insightful and entertaining presentations which introduced the extent of GAF’s offerings, with Impact XM seamlessly providing all AV components to facilitate GAF’s presentations. Moreover, to enhance the architectural appeal and overall elevation of the booth, Impact XM creatively incorporated a ramp behind the CARE Stage, serving as a showcase for various lines of GAF’s products. 

A highlight of the booth was the TimberSteel TM House, which offered an additional level of interactivity. Constructed using GAF’s Premium Metal Roofing System, it became a showstopper for attendees who eagerly sought a closer look and hands-on experience. 

The Education Center stood out as one of the main attractions, with visitors flocking to the overflowing room. To accommodate the popularity of the educational sessions, Impact XM swiftly set up cameras and initiated a live stream from the education center classroom onto the CARE Stage, allowing more attendees to access the content being presented.

Guiding the way were stunning overhead graphics, acting as luminous beacons, enticing visitors to explore each distinct product line. With a seamless fusion of tactile product samples, dynamic digital displays, and an interactive Roof Defender VR game, GAF’s expansive portfolio took center stage within the expansive 80×100 booth. 

THE IMPACT

The overall feedback on the design and build of the GAF booth was resoundingly positive. Attendees praised the seamless integration of all product lines, achieved through engaging displays and live demonstrations. The eye-catching graphics and custom-built features proved to be a major draw, capturing the attention of all IRE attendees.
