How COVID-19 Accelerated the Cultural Transition to Remote Events: Business 2 Community Article

In a recently published article, Clair Kim of Business 2 Community explored the status of virtual events pre-pandemic and what they might look like in a post-pandemic world. Kim suggests that this shift to remote was coming regardless, only accelerated by the current events. Impact XM’s John Capano, Senior Vice President of Client Development, offered his two cents on the future of events and the new normal that events are facing.

 

Excerpt: “[John Capano] believes there will be a hybrid between remote and in-person events, in which the main event will be hosted at an “HQ,” with a livestream available at satellite locations to decrease the density of people in one events space.”
