At NRF, Walmart wanted to spotlight GoLocal, its white-label delivery service, to an audience of retailers seeking solutions for their fulfillment needs. While Walmart’s name carries weight, GoLocal itself required deeper education—what it is, how it works, and most importantly, how it could empower businesses of all sizes with reliable delivery. The lounge needed to both clarify the offering and create an environment where prospects could connect, learn, and imagine GoLocal supporting their own operations.

Impact XM created the GoLocal Lounge, a branded environment designed to balance education with hospitality. Current GoLocal partners were integrated into the story, offering credibility and proof of success, while the space itself encouraged discovery and dialogue. 

The design took cues directly from Walmart’s visual identity, creating a fresh, approachable aesthetic anchored by storytelling graphics that mapped the customer journey. GPS-inspired floor cut-ins and wall graphics brought the delivery narrative to life, ensuring that every step in the space tied back to the GoLocal mission. 

Interactive elements gave the lounge energy and personality. A coffee station and refreshment bar quickly became a natural hub for networking, while a photo opportunity with custom props generated continuous activity and social buzz. These touchpoints transformed the lounge into more than a booth—it became a gathering place where attendees could learn, connect, and experience Walmart GoLocal’s value firsthand.

THE IMPACT

The GoLocal Lounge stood out as both informative and welcoming, making a strong impression on NRF attendees. Visitors left with a clearer understanding of Walmart GoLocal and its ability to serve as a trusted delivery partner, while the client was thrilled with how seamlessly the brand story and partner integration came to life. The lounge generated consistent traffic, strong engagement at its interactive features, and highly positive feedback from both attendees and Walmart stakeholders.
