Precise Execution of Space
Creating a multi-purpose space
Homes.com is a one-stop website that helps real-estate customers find their dream home and their dream agent in one place. The challenge for Impact XM was to create a space that accommodated hundreds of pre-set meetings while also maintaining spatial balance with the scheduled live presentation stage and preserving an open flow of traffic.
Homes.com had the largest space on the NAR 2022 show floor and wanted everyone to know. Impact XM designed an open-concept 60’ x 90’ exhibit space that featured seventeen (17) double-sided interactive demo kiosks along with a 20’ x 10’ Learning Lounge stage and 10’ LED backwall—to engage and educate attendees on why Homes.com is the leader in their field.
With no surrounding walls or booths around this island exhibit, attendees were welcomed from all sides by various engagement features such as the stage, reception desks, kiosks, and more. Up-lighting and gobo lights displaying the Homes.com logo rotated across the floor to create a dynamic atmosphere and energy within the space that was always on-brand. In addition, two immersion rooms were created to provide unique attendee interactions.
These immersion rooms were focused semi-enclosed spaces where attendees could explore the web-based tool to learn more about Park, Schools, and Neighborhoods on the Homes.com site. To top it all off, Impact XM created a custom stage and backdrop to highlight their Tesla giveaway (along with $25k in cash), along with coordinating a live broadcast of the giveaway to the LED jumbotron overhead.
The design of the exhibit space allowed attendee traffic to remain uncongested and maintained a good balance between open-concept and private moments during pre-set meetings. The client was incredibly happy with the exhibit’s execution and received a positive response from attendees.
