Shifting the Perception
In Facebook’s quest to elevate their brand and show small businesses the value of partnering with them, Facebook reached out to Impact XM to create a diverse and inclusive brand experience to help with this messaging. As the dedicated marketing partner to Facebook, the biggest challenge Impact XM faced was crafting a seamless and memorable pop-up experience that was highly inclusive in only a short couple weeks that aided in the shift in perception intended by the client.
This experience required breakout office space to facilitate meetings and working sessions along with parking and some common trade show components—such as registration desks, demo stations, and much more.
A Community Hub
Impact XM was brought on to manage the full execution of the pop-up activation. With Facebook handling all creative and graphics in-house, Impact XM’s role was centered around the coordination and management of all external vendors—from catering to parking control to staffing for all spaces—to ensure the successful execution of the pop-up.
Being very cognizant of ADA regulations, key considerations around disabilities were integrated throughout the entire experience to not exclude any communities. To promote exploration by the attendees, the wayfinding and traffic flow throughout the space was simplified in a way that would provide ease of experience for attendees regardless of where they were in the space.
The pop-up experience was a huge success in Denver, earning media coverage from key publications like The Denver Post. The registration was sold out for each day of the activation, suggesting that local small businesses were really invested in educating themselves on the advantages of partnering with Facebook.
