Boehringer Ingelheim’s Interactive Pet Paradise 

THE CHALLENGE

Maximizing Brand Impact       

Boehringer Ingelheim required an eye-catching booth for the VMX show at the Orange County Convention Center. The goal was to create a completely new look and feel that aligned with Boehringer’s updated brand colors. The booth needed to attract a large number of visitors, drawing attention away from competitors with an exhibit experience that was visually stunning, captivating, clean, fresh, and open. The aim was to ensure that all eyes were on their booth. 

But Boehringer Ingelheim wasn’t stopping there. They had also acquired an outdoor space near the VMX show entrance, presenting a unique opportunity to extend their brand reach. Enter the “Gard Yard” this space needed to be a fun and interactive space designed to showcase Boehringer Ingelheim’s NexGard combo product line and boost brand awareness. 

THE SOLUTION

Creating a Pawesome Experience 

Partnering with Impact XM, Boehringer presented a refreshed two-part experience at the VMX show, featuring both outdoor and indoor exhibits for attendees. Sustainability was a key focus in the booth design, achieved by using lightweight materials and fabric graphics, while still pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation. 

Inside the convention center, the booth featured a wide variety of interactive elements and screens, offering engaging storytelling components. One of the main attractions was an interactive game show, a highlight activity that drew visitors into the space with its dynamic and entertaining format. 

The “Gard Yard” outdoor space was designed to attract and engage attendees, creating an enticing area for visitors to relax, have some fun, and learn more about Boehringer Ingelheim’s product offerings. The main highlight of this space was a paw-shaped maze, where each corner greeted attendees with a special surprise.

Visitors could participate in a variety of games, enjoy giveaways, and take advantage of photobooths, food, and beverages. A distinctive feature allowed attendees to choose from four different designs and get personalized T-shirts made to order. 

Gard Yard provided a full range of engaging activities and relaxing amenities, making it the perfect place for attendees to unwind, have fun, and learn more about keeping their pets healthy. This outdoor oasis offered a unique opportunity for interaction and promotion, reinforcing Boehringer Ingelheim’s presence at the show and enhancing their brand awareness. 

 

THE IMPACT

Boehringer Ingelheim’s exhibits weren’t just about having fun; it was a strategic move that reinforced their presence at the VMX show. This innovative approach earned them the prestigious Top Dog Award for Best Island Booth at the WVC Annual Conference, solidifying their position as a leader in veterinary care.
