As part of BASF’s new US headquarters, Impact XM designed, programmed and installed a unique Innovation Center to inform visitors about their solutions that serve a variety of industries. Using a 60” square digital table developed by Impact XM, visitors place transparent cubes on the table to reveal short animated stories about their products and solutions.
Industries were identified by internally etched icons in the cubes that corresponded to the relevant industry served. Special sensors on the cubes cued the appropriate video story when it was activated on the digital table. This tactile approach to browsing increased interest and drove more interactions.
ENABLING INTERACTIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD
A web-based virtual experience has been developed that allows visitors, who cannot travel to the center, to interact with almost all the digital content. Displays are curated quarterly to keep content fresh and new.
MINI INNIES FOR BROAD PERMANENT REACH
Impact XM conceived, produced and deployed “mini-innies,” miniature versions of its headquarter’s Innovation Center, for a permanent immersive experiences in various locations. The visitor touch points included video, motion graphics, an interactive touch table and augmented reality as well as hands-on product displays in Beachwood, OH, Geismar, LA and Iselin, NJ.
