“As we were all grappling with what was happening in our industry, our lives, and in the world due to Covid-19, so many stories of social injustice came to light. It seemed too much to bear and it was all colliding together to form the perfect storm. Organizations needed to come to terms with how they addressed these topics. Were they going to run and hide? Were they going to stand up and share their core values and beliefs with their customers? Were they going to look internally and make changes to their own company cultures to improve the experiences for all their employees?”
