Impact XM Gives Back
At Impact XM, one of our key philosophies is that we define ourselves by our actions. For this and many other reasons, we are passionate about giving back to our communities in a meaningful, impactful way. Here is just a highlight of the stellar organizations we’ve committed to helping with time, resources, and support.
A Focus on Children
One of the main benefactors of Impact XM’s giving is the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Through the Rethink: Health program, Impact XM has provided a variety of toys and essentials to the hospital, helping to brighten the days of young patients. In addition to donations to CHOP, Impact XM has worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County, providing backpacks filled with supplies for local children. From clothing to art supplies and other grab-and-go essentials, they have been able to lighten to load for parents in local communities.
Supporting Animal Welfare
Another important focus of Impact XM’s philanthropy efforts has been supporting local animal welfare. By partnering with organizations like Husky House, the company has worked to promote the welfare of dogs and other animals in need. Through fundraisers and local events, the company has raised funds and awareness for local pets regarding issues like animal adoption and rescue.
Dulles Day Plane Pull: A Test of Strength for a Good Cause
This event, organized by the Special Olympics, challenges teams to pull an airplane across the tarmac in a test of strength and endurance. Impact XM’s DC team took on the challenge, pulling a plane to raise money for this important cause.
Supporting Women in Tech
In addition to supporting wellness, health, and education initiatives, Impact XM also places a strong emphasis on equality, technology, and innovation. This is why we have collaborated with JerseySTEM, a non-profit organization that promotes excellence in science, technology, engineering and math (“STEM”) education among underrepresented middle school girls. Impact XM has helped support JerseySTEM’s efforts to create STEM learning experiences for middle school girls in New Jersey
Investing in our Ecosystems
Our environmental partnership is tied to the International Tree Foundation (ITF) in support of the reforestation of threatened ecosystems around the world. With lumber and plywood being some of the most common materials used in the exhibit industry, we hope that this partnership can offset some of the unavoidable impact that our projects have on forests across the globe. During the holiday season, instead of sending our clients a physical card or generic gift, we chose to donate the budget for that initiative towards the ITF which planted XX trees on behalf of our clients. Through tree planting we can bring forests back to life, help nature recover and repair our broken ecosystems for wildlife, people and planet.
Upcycling our Unused Materials
To extend the life of our unused materials, we have partnered with Materials For The Arts center through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs. This partnership allows us to donate materials that we have removed from our project inventory or production line—such as old wall panels, left over fabric and vinyl from projects, wood scraps, cardboard cores, and much more—so that public schools and city agencies have access to free materials in a sustainable way. Through this partnership, we strive to keep these valuable items from entering the landfill by putting them into the hands of art professionals, educators and students across the five boroughs.
Impact XM is dedicated to giving back and making a difference through its Give Back program. Our efforts and the organizations we support are largely inspired by the varied passions of our own employees as many of us are already involved in these initiatives during personal time. When we all work together, we can contribute to meaningful organizations that support diverse members of our communities.
